Dear Kennet BeeKeeper,
This coming Saturday 3rd August 1.30 pm to about 6.00 pm. or later, we have our Kennet Beekeeper Summer Garden Party or Picnic in my garden! Help! I am firing up my wood-fired Pizza oven and will make pizza dough and basic tomato base sauce to start you all off making your own pizza. (Instructions given if needed) You bring the other toppings for your pizza to share like cheese, anchovies, sausage, olives, etc., plus something to drink (+glasses) perhaps also to share. If you don’t like pizza I have a BBQ which I can get set up – but please let me know in advance. Depending on how many members wish to attend I have various seating which should be enough but do come thinking you are perhaps going on a picnic and possibly bring a rug to sit on.
I hope this will be an enjoyable event for you and your families. Dogs on a lead please as I have chickens (and baby chicks) and needless to say beehives in the garden. Be good to know how many to expect so please drop me a line if you can. All very informal.
